Come join us in the *Make & Play Shekere Workshop, taught by Cheryl ~ The Gourd Lady ~ Thomas, and learn an ancient traditional craft and skill called “Beading” to create and personalize your own authentic Gourd Rattle instrument called Shekere (Shay-ka-ray). See and hear a variety of Rattles that have been crafted by this technique and then create, keep, and learn some basics to play it.
