FUTURE/RECONSTRUCTED will incorporate a previous work funded by BAC, Honest Process, done with Brian McCorkle for National Sawdust in 2019, but have different artists manipulate the tracks based on their own work and styles. By sharing the work Honest Process with the collaborators, everyone will impart their own stylistic interpretation, working within the remote confines of quarantine, and I will assemble their contributions into a shareable album. It would be an ongoing collaborative conversation of past works and histories, remade for a new and unknown future that utilizes stripped down features of my past performances. The final culmination will be presented as a listening party where the album can be purchased or downloaded, and will be available for streaming.
