Death by Audio Arcade creates and shares unique video arcade game cabinets and physical implementations of digital games for all to enjoy in social spaces. We bring together artists, fabricators, musicians, and game developers to produce unique video game artworks. We support the collective ownership of video game culture by communicating knowledge of how to build and curate physical arcade and social game spaces. Our next project is to build a hybrid video game arcade cabinet in collaboration with a Brooklyn-based indie game development and art team. This unique, one-of-a-kind playable installation will focus on multiplayer interactivity between in-person and online players.
