Roots Music on the Gowanus celebrates the local Brooklyn community through folk music all summer, with multiple programs including the Creekers Jamboree and the Boathouse Jam. The evenings are filled with music at the Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club boathouse and esplanade. It transforms the urban setting, on the bank of the Gowanus Canal, into a place where people gather, and provides an opportunity for the community to learn more about our once neglected waterway.
