An accessible video/audio/sensory installation documenting the work of the UP UNTIL NOW COLLECTIVE. The installation, opening in Brooklyn in the Fall of 2022, will include the NYC premiere of the short film UpUntilNow, the American Sign Language music video series: SOUL(SIGNS) and live performances. UP UNTIL NOW COLLECTIVE was founded in the summer of 2020 by Jecca Barry, Brandon Kazen-Maddox, Kevin Newbury & Marcus Shields. UUNC gathers artists together to make work that is joyful and challenging. Committed to inclusive, accessible and equitable working environments, UUN develops and produces new interdisciplinary work that explores empathy, intimacy and community, and seeks to challenge the status quo by building new structures for artistic creation. In the last year and a half, UUN has collaborated with over 100 artists from multiple disciplines.
