Dina Vovsi is a Brooklyn-based theater director. As a 2022 Brooklyn Arts Council SU-CASA Grantee, she is creating a play about the complexity of love in collaboration with Pete McGuiness Senior Center in Greenpoint. A 2021 Brooklyn Arts Council Grantee, she recently co-created EXITS, an audio-theatrical journey through Fort Greene. Her audio installation Show Me was part of The Motor Company’s Celebration of New York. Dina is a New Georges Affiliated Artist and a Working Theater 5 Boroughs 1 City Initiative commission recipient, co-creating a play about the intersection of the Russian-speaking and Pakistani immigrant communities in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn.
