Laura Elkeslassy will perform rollicking North African music with an all Moroccan band for Mimouna, a traditional North African Jewish event marking the end of Passover, celebrated by Muslim & Jewish neighbors alike with leavened food and festivity. The event, which will take place in Brooklyn brings together radical, justice-minded Southwest Asia/North African (SWANA) Jewish, Muslims, and allies to celebrate freedom, justice, good food (traditional SWANA).
