Six-session poetry workshop by SM Gray, in which participants explore, reflect, and write about their Brooklyn neighborhoods through memory, observation, and personal stories. Poet and filmmaker, SM Gray will conduct “My Brooklyn/ My New York City” at the Brooklyn Public Library’s Coney Island Branch on Mermaid Avenue (or virtually) with priority given to those who live and work in Coney Island. Workshops take place in the summer of 2023. This will be the fourth year we are offering this workshop.
