Rachel Lin is an actor & writer born in the UK and raised between two Chinatowns. Her project: "Dear John," is a solo show based on actual events. Spanning three continents and four decades, the show weaves together found text, family history, and stories of growing up in New York City. The piece has received support from the Asian American Arts Alliance, IRT Theater, Town Stages, and All For One Theater's Solo Collective. As an actor, Rachel has worked in theaters across the US including: St. Louis Rep, Cleveland Play House, Montana Rep, as well as many of New York City's black boxes. She is a lifetime member of the Ensemble Studio Theatre, and she is the host of Manhattan Theater Club's podcast: Beyond the Stage. She currently lives and writes in Brooklyn.
