"Watercolor & Pastel"
Richard Estrin is a visual artist who teaches. He has many years of experience teaching art to diverse student populations in schools, universities, libraries and senior centers. He has exhibited nationally and internationally. Principally a painter, he has worked in a variety of 2D and 3D media exploring themes of memory, gentrification, the glory of nature and how human activity impacts it. Most recently his work plumbs our values and their impact on our response to climate change.
Watercolor and pastel are fast friends. Together, they expand the range of the inherent characteristics of each. In this workshop we will explore their respective strengths individually and then work with them together to discover their synergy.
