Big Words, Etc. was created due to the lack of diversity we frequently saw at other reading series. Our mission is to amplify ALL voices, whether you are published or not. We proudly champion everyone that reads for us equally. We are very much a reading series for the people, by the people, with an open call for writers and an audience vote to determine each event's theme, so it allows everyone to hold space in our space.
