"Foundation"
“Foundation” stars a liberal philanthropist who tries to cozy up with radical politics before it’s too late. Revitalizing the spirit of INCITE’s “The Revolution Will Not Be Funded” (2007), the work unfolds in essayistic fragments dissecting the elite seduction and capture of revolutionary ideology. Anti-imperialist considerations of violence and freedom become a focal point with particular relevance to the responsibilities of cultural workers in the global north, made material through the work’s expanded medium of “film and contract.”
