Radical Holds Issue 1: Self-defense in Social Movements is a collaborative zine project between Jan Descartes, Mylo Mendez, Queer Fight School, and Pop Gym. This zine explores the politics of martial arts and its relationship to social movements and community organizing projects. This zine will feature interviews with martial artists and community organizers, visual instruction of self-defense techniques, and essays on community self-defense history and current projects.
