\\\ (read as “three slashes”)
“\\\” (read as “three slashes”) is a dance performance at Triskelion Arts integrating cross-cultural disciplines with playful intentions. Using imagination to spark possibilities for Asian, Immigrant, Queer communities and beyond. This piece starts with a 4-foot-long string connecting two dancers’ left wrists, and a synchronized swinging motion like two old grandfather clocks. Choreographer Shannon Yu is choreographing on dancers Kimiko Tanabe and Corinne Lohner. Working with drummer Nathan Repasz to create the soundtrack.
