Dancing Crane has established itself as the premiere Georgian Cultural Center of New York, attracting a wide array of arts practitioners from throughout the Georgian community and beyond. Our professional performing ensembles include our Georgian Dance Ensemble, the Georgian Theater of New York (the only one of its kind), and our music performance groups. Artists in these ensembles are immigrant professionals who have trained in the best companies in Georgia, providing world-class services to the local community at affordable prices. We feature a variety of special events including art exhibits, children’s performances, family events, talks, discussions, and presentations by visiting artists and professionals from Georgia and elsewhere. Our children’s school has classes in Georgian traditional dance, vocal and instrumental music, Georgian children’s theater, ballet, hip hop, visual art, film, and more. Instructors are all professional Georgian artists, and classes are largely taught in the Georgian language to cater to the immigrant community.
