Unheard-of Ensemble will present two concerts of Christopher Stark’s Fire Ecologies with video art by Zlatko Ćosić on two of Brooklyn’s most well known Superfund sites, the Gowanus Canal in July 2022 and Newtown Creek in September 2022. This project will share this interdisciplinary work exploring American landscapes through the lens of climate change with audience members while connecting them to sites that are both products of human pollution and success stories of revitalization and rehabilitation.
