‘My Future is Turtle’ is a live multi-media performance and installation that examines the nature of reality, inspired by practices such as quantum theory, tarot, Buddhism, genealogy, improvisation, and chance operations. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and prolonged isolation, this research has also turned towards the ways in which we make meaning through and within our relationships. Using live dance and music, in combination with text and video projection on fabricated and found materials to be installed throughout the theater and outdoor spaces of Triskelion Arts, this evening length performance explores the various ways that we seek and make meaning in the natural world and in relation to the people and objects that surround us.
