Cecilia Smith is one of the leading Vibraphonists of Four-Mallet Technique and performs nationally and abroad. She has six CD releases. Cecilia is also an avid composer, arranger, multimedia artist, teaching artist and jazz improvisation education clinician. Cecilia has won many commissions and grants, including THE NATIONAL ENDOWMENT for the ARTS; CHAMBER MUSIC AMERICA; ELIZABETH SWADOS AWARD, specifically for music teaching artists; A JOYCE AWARD COMMISSION.
