This project presents the pilot iteration of FLY!, an innovative community arts program developed by Continuum Culture & Arts that brings highly-acclaimed, international-level artists to drum and collaborate directly with people in vulnerable populations and historically marginalized communities. Though FLY! is planned by 2025 to serve people in ten cities across the US, and to involve programming and partnerships with multiple social service, social justice, and arts organizations in each location, this project pertains to the pilot, Brooklyn iteration. The FLY! program as a whole will provide a vehicle by which we plan to grow Continuum into a larger, more sustainable organization.
