Ensemble Decipher will present world premieres of interdisciplinary works by Bora Yoon and Chelsea Loew, as well as recent works by Erin Rogers, Lyn Goeringer, and Mari Kimura at Brooklyn’s Roulette Intermedium in October 2023. The concert will also feature a co-created work with Iranian choreographer Hiva Sedaghat. All of the works on this concert will explore configurations and re-configurations of technology in music. No person will be turned away from the door, with a suggested ticket price of $15. Alongside this concert of new music, members of Ensemble Decipher will interview Goeringer, Yoon, Rogers, and Sedaghat, and dive deep into their practice with conversational interviews focused on music, dance, and technology. The podcasts will be recorded in Spring and Summer 2023, and will be released every two weeks starting in August.
