Perennial Muse is a Brooklyn-based nonprofit arts organization specializing in music programs for older adults and adult learners. They offer instrumental and vocal music lessons, workshops, and free afternoon music concerts in the community. As a 2023 BAF awardee Perennial Muse launches its Lunch Music Cafe project this spring presenting live music performances during lunchtime hours at senior centers and nursing homes in Brooklyn. Music performances are informal, varied, soothing and sweet, complimenting dining and socialization experiences for older adults and staff community while they have lunch or stop in to pick up grab-n-go meals.
