The Opera Next Door (TOND) is a community-arts organization that was born out of the loss of opportunity for artists during the COVID-19 pandemic. TOND works to eliminate the social and financial exclusivity implicit to opera, to bring the artform beyond the proscenium stage, and to nurture unity across New York City.
