Desperate Living Reading Series began in the Spring of 2020 on zoom as a way to bring people together through poetry. Since 2021, we have prioritized outdoor venues. Desperate Living hosts queer writers, with a focus on marginalized voices and experimental, in progress work with curations that bridge the gaps between established and emerging writers.
