Sasha Hill will use the Charlene & Ella Fund to support participation in the Cohorts.Art program, a unique opportunity to expand her practice in the ceramic arts.Through remote meetings spanning a full year and an in-person workshop, she will receive the guidance of a mentor in the ceramic field and the collaboration of a small cohort of peers as they all work to improve skills in design and technique, hone an artistic voice, and discuss the meanings of working in this medium. Sasha creates ceramic vessels with illustrated scenes and stories both real and imaginary. She will use this opportunity to focus on improving her craft and learning about models for cooperation and collaboration between ceramic artists.
