The Golem story, although quite old, is in fact extremely timely. It asks us to examine what happens when a community is under attack--what do people in need of protection do when those in power are who they need protection from? How do we protect one another? And it also examines how we harness the technology available to us to try to create that protection. The story forces us to confront what can happen when we lose control of the technology we thought we were in charge of. Our new devised piece of work will examine these questions with young people to create a brand new story.
